EDITORIAL & REVIEW POLICY

The evidence behind the listing.

Useful directories explain what they know, where it came from and what still needs checking. Here is our approach.

What qualifies for a listing?

We look for a real, accessible official website, a documented Australian presence or service area, and published consulting, implementation, training, governance or related AI services. Product-only businesses are not automatically consulting providers.

Discovery sources can include government directories, search results and industry lists. We inspect primary sources before publishing a profile. We exclude unresolved duplicates and flag acquired brands rather than count them as independent firms.

What “website checked” means.

We inspected public pages supporting the profile’s services and Australian footprint, on the date shown. This does not verify delivery quality, capacity, licensing, insurance, legal identity or every marketing claim.

An ABN shown on a provider website is labelled as published. We only describe a registry check as completed when the exact entity and current record were inspected. A valid ABN alone does not prove the skills or quality of a consultant.

How we handle feedback.

External client reviews are attributed summaries linked to their original platform. Provider-published testimonials are explicitly labelled. We do not combine those sources into a directory star rating or claim we verified the underlying client relationship.

Original reviews submitted to this directory are held for moderation. Before approval we check the reviewer’s claimed relationship and supporting project evidence. We do not publish email addresses, and payment cannot purchase a positive review or remove a legitimate negative one.

Historical reviews may concern software or another service rather than AI. Where relevant, we preserve that context. No feedback on a profile means we have not published sourced feedback there; it does not mean the provider has no clients.

Ordering, sponsorships and affiliate links.

The standard directory is alphabetical. Sponsored placements must be visibly marked “Sponsored” and kept distinct from the standard ordering. A sponsor still needs to meet the evidence requirements.

Affiliate links must be disclosed near the link. We may earn a commission if a reader follows an approved affiliate link and buys. Commercial relationships do not establish that a tool or consultant is suitable for your project.

Keeping the information current.

Each profile shows source-check dates. We prioritise broken links, closures, acquisitions, corrections and material service changes. Businesses can submit updates or claim a profile; claims require ownership checks before changes are accepted.

We retain evidence records and review corrections before publication. Please use the correction form if something is inaccurate, outdated or attributed to the wrong business.
